Over the July 4th week, I went up to Michigan for vacation. Was a great time which I needed badly. Needed a good reset. Anyways, for the past 6 7 years I have had to work every July 4. So I was unable to take some photos of fireworks. So this year I was all excited that I was able to do so cause I was off. ha, unfortunately the town I was staying at didn't do fireworks so I missed it again. I was able to shoot some fireworks that were being set off in the neighborhood. This is hot I did these shoots. Want to see a few more. head over to my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?viewas=100000686899395&id=100094222962852

So the next time you want to shoot fireworks, this is how I did it. I used a tripod along with a shutter release cable. I set the mode to bulb.

ISO 11

F 7.1

I take the exposure from when I hear the burst until after the firework goes off.
