High Dynamic Range

This style of photography was what first caught my interest in photography. Back then, I thought everything could be done in HDR. I loved the look of HDR images when they were done correctly, but I didn't yet understand how to achieve that look myself. Looking back, my own attempts didn't quite turn out the way I had envisioned.

Now, with more experience and a better understanding of photography, I'm revisiting the style that first inspired me. It's interesting to look back at those early attempts and see how much I've learned since then. Sometimes, going back to where it all started reminds you just how far you've come.

Going back to the HDR Style

Recently, I’ve been trying to get back into this style of photography. Now that I have a better understanding of the fundamentals and more experience behind the camera, I feel this photo is a much better attempt at capturing what I originally envisioned.

Going back through my old work and seeing how far I’ve come is a reminder that photography is a constant learning process. The more you learn, the more you begin to see things differently. Looking back at where I started and comparing it to where I am today makes me appreciate the journey even more. There’s always room to grow, experiment, and improve, and that’s one of the things I love most about photography.
